There are lots of ways your school can get involved with READ International, either through donating books, fundraising, receiving our School Speakers or all three! We want to foster strong relationships with the schools we work with, so we aim to provide you with lots of feedback and will try to be as flexible as possible to accomodate your needs. Here are just some of the schools that have worked with READ so far.
We believe in action and provide young people with the opportunity of participating in our work. This gives students the chance to be involved in a development project that has tangible results and encourages Recycling, Global Citizenship, Volunteering and Social Enterprise.

We focus on collecting Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level Books.
We do also take Primary readers and university level textbooks, please contact us if you have these too: if they aren't suitable for East Africa we can include them in our Better World Books collection drive to raise funds to send the relevant books.
Medical textbooks: Working together with The LauraCase Trust and MedSin our Medical Book Drives collect medical textbooks in an effort to promote health education and autonomy. If you have medical textbooks to donate please see our Medical Book Drive page for more information.
