Conspiracy For Good

We have partnered with Tim Kring (producer of TV show Heroes) and Nokia to run London’s biggest ever book drive and we need you to help gather thousands of books to help school children in East Africa.

We are the UK's one-stop-shop for book donations. We have thousands of volunteers across the UK collecting and sorting books. We can accept ANY disused books from anyone and everyone in the UK.  We sort the books, using some very smart ISBN scanning technology developed for us by British Library. We just scan the ISBN of a book we collect and it works out if the book is relevant to the Tanzanian/Ugandan syllabus and, if relevant, we send them to East Africa.  Any book not relevant to send (we don't take religious/political books either for example) is sold online to generate much needed funding.  If it can't be sent or sold, we recycle it for cash, generating more funding. It's a simple process. COLLECT, SORT, GENERATE, DISTRIBUTE, RECYCLE. We even deliver free workshops to young people in the UK to educate school children about global citizenship, recycling and sustainability. Go to our homepage to find out more about our great work!  We were recently awarded Best International Aid and Development Charity at the Charity Awards 2010!

The map below illustrates locations you can drop off books. You can drop off books at any of these places between Monday 26th July and Friday 6th August 2010.
